# BALGRAD.AI — Price comparison methodology

BALGRAD.AI compares the exact product, real retailer offers, and verified price history that is actually available.

## 1. Match the exact product

Exact identifiers and variant details remain separate. A body-only tool is not silently mixed with a kit, and one regional or package variant does not inherit another variant's price.

## 2. Compare retailer prices

Prices stay in the retailer's original currency. Item price and shipping are distinguished, and unknown shipping is never treated as free.

## 3. Put price in context

Verified price checks build history over time. When evidence is strong enough, the Deal Score adds context to the current offer.

## Deal Score

The current score is rule-based, not predictive. It compares the current delivered price with observed daily lowest delivered prices for the same product, market and new condition.

- BUY: 80–100
- WAIT: 45–79
- PASS: 0–44

The score starts at 65, adds 150 times the relative discount to the observed 30-day average, and adds 15 points when the current total is within 2% of the observed 30-day low and at least 3% below the observed average. The result is rounded and limited to 0–100.

## When a rating is withheld

A rating requires at least 14 observed days spanning 14 days in the recent 30-day window, plus a verified in-stock offer checked within 72 hours with known shipping. Unknown shipping, unavailable offers, used products, other currencies and source-only snapshots do not establish a score.

If evidence is insufficient, BALGRAD.AI does not invent a score or missing price history.

## Interpretation

Retailer relationships do not affect Deal Score. BALGRAD.AI does not sell the listed products and does not guarantee the lowest price across the entire market.
